If you want to learn how to help managing an organization efficiently this can be the right course for you. The study format of the course Operations Research is called "Blended Learning". That describes a mixture of self-paced learning and seminar-based learning in a group. The learning mode is flexible. The course is designed for professionals.

Official University Certificate with 5 ECTS 'Operations Research'.
Teilnahmevoraussetzungen:
Technical and executive personnel especially from manufacturing companies, logistic departments, project management and production management. The course level is suitable for beginners. But it is recommended that one has a certain enjoyment of mathematics. The participants are usually professionals from a wide range of industrial companies.
Technische Voraussetzungen:
Online with a learning platform.The one day mandatory attendance phase will take place Monday, 15. September 2025 at the BHT university campus in Berlin.
Lehrgangsverlauf/Methoden:
Methodological competence for optimal resource allocation. Methods are: linear optimization, graphic solution, Excel-Solver handling (Simplex), sensitivity analysis, selected LO applications (production program planning, transport problems), queuing systems and -models, selected applications of queues (maintenance, dispatching capacities, road construction), simulation systems and examples in production.

The course is designed for professionals from various indistries. Or you can use it as elective module for study programs.
