Im Rahmen des gemeinsamen Weiterbildungsprogramms „Betriebliches Gesundheitsmanagement“ liegt die Federführung bei der Campus-Akademie der Universität Bayreuth. Das Zentrum für universitäre Weiterbildung (ZWB) der Universität Bamberg und das Institut für lebenslanges Lernen der Hochschule Coburg stellen an jeweils zwei Veranstaltungstagen Dienstleistungen zur Verfügung. Bei der inhaltlichen Ausgestaltung des Zertifikatskurses sind Dozierende aller drei Hochschulen beteiligt.

This classroom course of two days explains how to balance the workload on the IBM i system to ensure optimum performance. Specifically, this course explains how to manage workloads, measure system performance, and tune the operating system to meet processing requirements. Hands-on exercises give you the opportunity to use the system functions that are available for controlling workload and tuning system performance. Evaluation criteria presented in this course are based on the latest information available from IBM development labs.

This course is intended for IT professionals tasked with administering an IBM Storage Scale storage cluster in Linux and AIX environments. It includes information on installing, configuring, and monitoring an IBM Storage Scale cluster. Many Storage Scale features are described in lecture materials and then implemented in lab exercises. These features include: Storage management, high availability options, cluster management, and information lifecycle management (ILM) tools. Upon completion of this course, you will earn an IBM badge that recognizes your skills and knowledge in this area. Note: Although the lab environment is running the Linux operating system, the differences in Storage Scale compared with an AIX environment are minor.  Therefore, the skills acquired during the course can be applied in both Linux and AIX environments.

In this course, you learn how watsonx.ai might help you to put AI to work in your business. You explore the foundation models supported in watsonx.ai and improve your prompt engineering skills. You experiment with prompt tuning and seek to understand when to use it over prompt engineering. You explore the LangChain framework that helps you build AI applications based on foundation models. Lastly, you solve several use cases, such as RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) and summarization. The course has a large practical component with hands-on exercises on prompt engineering, prompt tuning, and the solving of several use cases with the tools and techniques described in this course.

During ISAQB CPSA Foundation Level training you will learn how software architectures have to be designed, documented and evaluated. At the end of this course you will be able to design and document the software architecture for a small and medium-sized system based on a sufficiently detailed requirements specification for a smaller system. As a Focus you will be taught knowledge that you need to pass the certification exam ISAQB® Certified Professional for Software Architecture Foundation Level.The contents are based on the latest ISAQB Syllabus. This course helps you explore the IBM Cloud Pak for Data monitoring and alerting framework. In this course, you customize alert forwarding, configure the monitoring stack so that it sends Cloud Pak for Data metrics to Prometheus.  You perform routine Cloud Pak for Data monitoring, which leads to investigating and resolving issues in your environment. You also deploy scripts that use platform APIs, and enhance the monitoring feature by introducing custom monitors.
